This was a very nice blank and turned easily as you would expect from Alumilite. The beauty of the blank is not as obvious in the pics as it is "in the flesh" as the subtilties do not show well in pics.
I used this blank as the base for a Vertex Supreme Fountain pen in Gun Metal with excellent results. (IMO, of course)
