The fountain pen variety comes with a Schmidt 452 nib (and both an ink cartridge and a converter) and features a larger section than the Apollo. The rollerball matches this section and comes with a Schmidt 5888 Refill.

Love these kits. They are tremendous
This is great for somebody ready to step up beyond tubed pen kits, but who isn’t quite ready to go full on bespoke. You are really only limited by your own creativity with final dimensions and these will push you to become better at your craft. The kits themselves are very well made.
The Artemis components are some of the best made and versatile kits available in the pen market today. The stainless steel and brass components are well made, durable AND made in the USA. The instructions for these sets are comprehensive, detailed and clearly written.
I bought the fountain pen kit and the rollerball kit because I was interested in making my first closed-end pen kits. These were made of quality products and made in the USA! The instructions were easy to follow and paired well with their Fire on the Mountain blank and also with Diamondcast pen blanks. I will buy more without hesitation and highly recommend them!
