Blanks measure 7/8" square by 6" long
Hybrid blanks at Bullseye Turning Supply are made with stabilized hand-picked wood and Alumilite Clear Slow resin. Our resin colors are carefully designed and mixed by a member of our family business.
Stabilizing our wood takes fragile woods and makes them much more dense and solid for turning, carving, or machining. Stabilizing also helps solidify burls and helps eliminate wood movement. This means that you will have an easier time turning our blanks!

For the beauty these are second to none. 5 stars all day long. The reason for the 3 stars is the quality. Thankfully I ordered two of these. While finish scraping the first one, it came apart on the lathe. Appears that there may have been a void or something. I had to sacrifice it and cut it completely of the tube and start over. Thankfully that one held together and turned out a truly magnificent pen. This is the first issue I've had, and hopefully it was just a 1 in a thousand freak.
I love these blanks as they are some of the only ones around that can be used with large pen kits, and when finished are some of the most gorgeous works of art for hybrid blanks.
